Happy inevitable passing of time, everyone!
The dress has fulfilled it’s initial purpose – party was great fun. We did Murder in the Thirties this year – was a pretty tricky one this time. We’ve done quite a few now – I think this one was the least hammy and the more cleverly written. We did have to have a doll stand-in though (that I made, naturally. I did one each for my girls a few years ago, along with a box full of accessories), as I don’t have enough people to fill all the roles. Turns out the doll dunnit! Guess dolls really are creepy.
But aside from that, when I finally got a day or two to myself over the festive period, I found time to build my lego ewok village (BEST PRESENT!) and start a brand new crochet project. My dearest friend gave me a cool zombie bear pattern for Christmas, so I put everything else down and went to work on that. It looks SO cool! I’m actually now thinking about making a bigger one …
You can buy the pattern here – thanks krawka for designing this fab pattern!
